Coalition International, Inc. (the Organizers) in Collaboration with Capital
Plaza Associates Limited Partnership (“ the Mall”) offer vendors
the opportunity to participate in the Flea Market and Bazaar under the
following terms: 1. Space: The Organizers and the Mall are offering floor space only. Vendors must supply tables, chairs and any other appropriate display materials fitting within allotted space. All tables must be draped to the floor and covered. All space must be kept neat and orderly. Each vendor is responsible for trash removal and keeping space clean. No food or perishable items are to be left on the premises. At this time, space is only available on a monthly basis to professional vendors able to open stands for the entire time that the Flea Market is open. Hours are Fridays 12 noon-8 P.M., Saturdays 10 A.M. -7 P.M. and Sundays 12 noon-6 P.M.. 2. Fees: Spaces are assigned upon receipt of payment. Money order, certified check, or cash will be accepted for payment. Please make payment payable to Parenting Coalition International, Inc.
A booth fee will not be refunded. Absolutely
No Exceptions. Penalties:
Vendors are charged a penalty of $25.00 for
opening late or closing early on Saturdays and Sundays. There is a $50.00
fine per day for
not opening at all on either of those two days. Fridays are optional and no penalties apply however, vendors leaving
merchandise on the premise when not opening all
three days are doing so at their own risk. Vendors have access for set-up on Fridays at 11:00 A.M. Saturdays 9:00 A.M. and Sundays at 11:00 A.M. There will be no unloading of boxes, racks, dollies etc. after the Market has opened on Saturdays. 4. Indemnification The vendor agrees that he/she will indemnify and hold the
Organizer and Mall harmless from any and all expenses, claims, or liabilities
arising from or related in any way to the vendor’s use of space, including,
but not, limited to, attorney’s fees. The
Vendor will not carry out any activity in the Space or in the Market, or permit
anything to be done which is contrary to any law, ordinance or regulation of
Prince George’s County, the State of Maryland or the United States, or which
will make void or voidable or increase in the cost of the Organizer's or
Mall’s insurance. The vendor will not engage in any activity or permit
activity in the Space and/or the Mall which it is advised by the Mall is not
acceptable for any reason. 5. Merchandise: The
Organizer and/or Mall have the right to reject an application at anytime before
the Market opens for any reason. The
organizer and/or Mall reserve the right to make such changes and further rules
and regulations regarding the market as it in its sole discretion, deems
necessary and upon notice, all said action shall become part of its terms,
conditions and policies and are binding on all parties. 6. Permits Required: All vendors are required and responsible for having a Maryland Trader’s License and a Sales and Tax Use certificate. To obtain information about a license call (301) 952-3335. A copy of our flyer will be required when you apply. The permit is good for a year and is required at any flea market or exhibition in the state of Maryland. If you plan to sell 3 or less times in a year, you can obtain an affidavit. Call (301) 952-3335 for more information. A trader’s license is not needed if you are taking orders and distributing information using flyers and catalogs. This means you are not stocking inventory. This would include such businesses as Prepaid –Legal, phone service, and etc. Sales and Tax Use Information can be obtained by calling ( 301) 952-2814. There is to be no use of extension cords or surge protectors. Violators will be fined $300.00, denied access to booth until paid and may be asked to vacate.
